Dnes 24. května 2011 předal Jens Eikaas, velvyslanec Norského království v ČR, do rukou MUDr. Romana Krause, MBA, ředitel FN Brno, certifikát mezinárodní akreditace nemocnic, který Fakultní nemocnice Brno získala jako první nemocnice v České republice. Jeho udělení umožnil úspěšný akreditační audit, který ve dnech 21. - 25. února 2011 proběhl ve FN Brno jako první v Evropě. Úkolem týmu amerických auditorů z DNV Health Care&Biorisk bylo posoudit naplnění akreditačních standardů DNV International Accreditation, zaměřených zejména na bezpečnost pacientů, personálu a návštěvníků nemocnice.
Ve dnech 21. a 22. června 2010 navštívil FN Brno tým amerických auditorů z Det Norske Veritas - Health Care. Jeho úkolem bylo posoudit připravenost nemocnice k akreditaci dle standardů NIAHO. Fakultní nemocnice Brno udělala první krok k získání nové americké akreditaci NIAHOSM společnosti Det Norske Veritas (DNV). Pokud se jí v lednu 2011 podaří úspěšně projít auditem, stane se první nemocnicí s touto akreditací v Evropě.
Severní Čechy - Severočeská vodárenská společnost a.s. získala certifikát kvality podle revidované normy ISO 9001:2008 a ISO 10006:2003. Společnost od roku 1993 spravuje vodovodní a kanalizační síť na území Ústeckého a velké části Libereckého kraje. Tomáš Urban, výkonný ředitel Det Norske Veritas pro Českou a Slovenskou republiku, doplňuje: „Certifikát kvality je především oceněním managementu společnosti.“
Dne 11.12. 2009 za přítomnosti ministryně zdravotnictví Mgr. Dany Juráskové, PhD.,MBA byl zástupci DET NORSKE VERITAS slavnostně předán certifikát systému managementu kvality ISO 9001:2008 Národnímu centru ošetřovatelství a nelékařských zdravotnických oborů (dále jen Centrum).
