NIS2 (Network and Information Systems Directive 2) Overview Course
This is a digital half-day course on the EU directive NIS2. We'll provide an overview of what it is, who it affects, and the main requirements it sets out.
Overview
To ensure a harmonized and higher level of cybersecurity across EU countries, the NIS2 Directive introduces a new regulatory framework that entails a minimum set of security controls and reporting measures for cybersecurity incidents. The Directive introduces expanded sanction options and mandates a higher level of senior management commitment, particularly in the areas of risk assessment and risk management. It also emphasizes the need for continuous training to effectively carry out these responsibilities.
The NIS2 Directive applies to companies in 18 different sectors with more than 50 employees and an annual turnover exceeding €50 million.
